The task
Stand up a nine-person integration team, acting as interim executives, to manage the transition of the assets from seller to acquirer and support the integration.
What we did
Our work covered marketing and sales, operations, logistics, HR and communication, IT, finance, project management, infrastructure, and cultural change.
- Managed the transition service agreements, so the acquirer could staff the functions that would not move over from the seller, because they served many brands beyond these two.
- Secured customer continuity, including designing a new logistics approach.
- Identified opportunities to expand production capacity.
- Moved the culture from a top-down organisation to a responsibility-driven one by empowering line leadership.
- Integrated all production and communication systems, and supported the migration from the seller's SAP to the acquirer's SAP.
