Case study - Carve-out and four business unit split

The task
Troubleshoot the TSA programme as interim executives: turn around the company's TSA exit from its former parent, and make sure the business unit split and ERP transformation landed cleanly at TSA exit.
What we did
- Covered all business and IT functions, interfacing with the private equity fund and with the seller, and stood up and ran a testing function.
- Took over the management of the transition service agreements on a failing programme and turned it around to exit before TSA expiry.
- Acted as senior advisors to the private equity owner, the company's functional executives, and the interface with the seller on TSA matters and exit.
- Built a detailed TSA exit plan setting out what had to transition, and in what order.
- Assessed the programme's capability and capacity weekly to guide decisions with the private equity owner.
- Delivered new infrastructure and moved four business units from one SAP instance to NetSuite, alongside a Salesforce migration and new cloud HRIS.
- Set up a testing capability to assess and report on difficult cross-programme issues.
