How we engage - We step down as your team, and our agents, take on the work.

Three phases, agreed at the start: full time, then half time, then a quarter of the time, while your team learns to do the work in tandem with our agents.

Three phases, one retainer each

  1. Step 1

    Lead the programme

    Full time, monthly retainer

    • Planning and execution
    • orCutover and delivery support

One of two shapes, depending on where the programme is when we arrive. A senior practitioner leads it day to day, and your team works alongside us in atlanticma.ai from the first week.

  2. Step 2

    Execution support

    Half time, monthly retainer

Your team takes on more of the running of the programme. We support delivery, and stay close to the decisions that protect the deal thesis.

  3. Step 3

    Maintenance

A quarter of the time, monthly retainer

Your team runs the programme. We keep a hand on it so value keeps being tracked and nothing drifts.

Why it steps down - Our time falls as your team's capability grows

The point of the engagement is a team that can run the next integration without us. Each phase hands more of the programme to your people, so the retainer steps down with it.

Agreed at the start - No open-ended engagement

We set the phases, and when each one starts, with you before the engagement begins. You know the shape of the whole engagement, and what it costs, from the start.

  • Simple, transparent and predictable pricing. One monthly retainer per phase for our partners' time. Your atlanticma.ai subscription is in your name from the first day, at its published price, so the programme and its data stay yours when we step back.
  • Capability built in. Your people work in the programme with us from the first week, so each step down is a hand-over they are ready for.
  • Your programme stays yours. The plan, charters and decisions live in atlanticma.ai, which your team keeps using after we step back.

One platform, three deals, one value creation plan

How a Buy and Build adds deals to one plan over time, divestitures included. Each deal's earnout is still tracked after it is added.

  1. Period 1

    Two integrations under way

    Deals

    Deal A: integration under way
    Deal B: integration under way

    Value creation plan

    Not created yet

    Earnout ledgers (Beta)

Deal A earnout: still tracked, period by period
Deal B earnout: still tracked, period by period
  2. Period 2

Deals A and B added to a new Buy and Build; Deal C's divestiture starts

    Deals

Deal A: added, kept as read-only history
Deal B: added, kept as read-only history
Deal C: divestiture under way, TSA services still running

    Value creation plan

Created, with the platform's LBO model feeding its value bridge

    Earnout ledgers (Beta)

Deal A earnout: still tracked, period by period
Deal B earnout: still tracked, period by period
Deal C earnout: still tracked, period by period
  3. Period 3

Deal C added once every TSA service has exited

    Deals

Deal A: added, kept as read-only history
Deal B: added, kept as read-only history
Deal C: added, kept as read-only history

    Value creation plan

The same plan: deals A, B and C added, its LBO model still feeding its value bridge

Deal A earnout: still tracked, period by period
Deal B earnout: still tracked, period by period
Deal C earnout: still tracked, period by period
Adding a deal to a Buy and Build links it to the plan and keeps its record. It does not merge a deal's figures into the plan's value bridge. A buy-side divestiture is added once every TSA service has exited; a sell-side divestiture is not, because a Buy and Build is the buyer's platform. If the plan and its deals are archived, an open earnout keeps running until it is settled.
